Despite its location in a Botafogo shopping mall, the grand pizza oven and bowed wooden ceiling help to create an almost-authentic feel that has fans of Italian food flocking. A well-stocked buffet fuels the office workers, and families descend of an evening before the younger crowd arrive at night. As far as pre-cinema feasting goes, its up there with the best, and the pizzas have earned a good rep with the house special combining sausage, aubergine and fennel to improbably fine effect.
