Complete with bookshop and a rather nice bar in which to either limber up for or digest the latest indie cracker, this link in the Estação chain on Praia do Botafogo goes that little further than most to complete your movi experience. Proud to be the first theatre in town to fit George Lucas' THX sound system, it goes rather well with the Italian projectors and German lenses. Nicely thought out, then, and the location of choice for a host of film festivals throughout the year so their programming is well worth keeping an eye on for arty one-offs and national premieres.
