Doce Delícia restaurants have become the watchword for Cariocas looking for tasty yet healthy food. Run by sisters Luciana and Juliana Almeida, their concept was to create a line of elaborate salads, desserts, tarts and quiches heavy on flavour and creativity. Now also offering hot dishes, the classic salada multipla escolha with its appetizing diversity remains unmissable. Choosing between the puds isn't easy either. Chocolamour (strawberries, chocolate and chantilly cream) and the Banana Show (banana brulê with ice cream) are guilt-laden knockouts. Besides the diverse menu, Doce Delícia occasionally hosts gastronomic festivals. With branches in Ipanema, Shopping Leblon, Fashion Mall and Shopping Tijuca.
