In the heart of Leblon, the longstanding member of Severiano Ribeiro's cine-empire has just three screens and is always popular, especially with the grannies at matinee time. One of the few street-level cinemas to survive the modern multiplex takeover along with the Roxy in Copacabana, it is quite the site seeing the old dears all getting their popcorn on a Sunday afternoon and busying their way indoors for the best seats.
