The Flamengo Beach branch of Porcão (also known as Porcão Rios) has a stunning view across the bay and arguably the best (at least the biggest) buffet of its siblings, but in all branches you can rest assured that the meat is of the highest quality and won't stop coming until you have paid your bill (the round sim / não cards mean little when the waiters are in full flow). As likely to be wielding ostrich as filet mignon stuffed with oozing cheese, don't be afraid to ask the skewer team for the specials too; the ribs and blood sausage are not to be overlooked. Don't over-indulge on the free pasteis, fries and onion rings, and it's best to remember that the digestifs and desserts can add an awful lot to your bill.
