If you're looking to unwind after a trip up Sugarloaf, Terra Brasilis on Praia Vermelha is as good a spot as any (and there aren't many in the immediate area). Housed in the military club, its like stepping back in time, with the extensive veranda affording views out across the miniature bay (avoid sitting indoors, the atmosphere isn't captivating). The food is rather less enticing, with pizza, steak and sandwiches the order of the day, while the live music, again not the main attraction when all you really need is the sound of the waves, adds a small charge to the bill after 6pm.
