Jobs feels like a poorly assembled collections of important moments of Steve Jobs by Joshua Michael Stern. A truly disappointing movie portraying such a fascinating character.

The movie started with Jobs (Ashton Kutcher) revealing iPod to Apple employees in a Town Hall Meeting in 2001. Unfortunately, the only thing Kutcher was able to pull off depicting Jobs, was the make up. The overly exaggerated “Steve Jobs” walk, and over-the-top melodramatic reenactment of the famous “The Crazy Ones” speech for Apple’s “Think Different” campaign really showcased Kutcher’s inadequate acting.

The entire movie looks like a montage of uninspiring impressions, and a collage of inspirational speeches. The character portrait lacks depth with majority of the stories taking place in the Apple office. Jobs failed to establish Jobs’s complex personality and his professional achievements.
