Having repositioned itself in 2009 as the home of interior design in Zona Sul, Rio Plaza then changed its name in 2012 to Casa e Gourmet to better relate to what can be found within. As well as plenty of furnishings and electrical goods, there is a new architecture-devoted space for the presentation of new projects, while the gastronomic treasures to be found are also considerable, with the Celdom Gormet store even offering cooking courses and the hiring of the shop for food-based events. The ever-popular, if not so culinarily exciting, Outback Steakhouse also thrives here, along with a host of other options, from Japanese to classic Brazilian cooking.
