A truly mixed and interesting crowd of music lovers and students finds its way to Casa Rosa at the weekends, and combined with an eclectic music policy help to make this club on the Laranjeiras hillside a bit of a must-visit. The signature weekly event is the 5pm Sunday roda de samba live music show with optional feijoada stew to be taken on the terrace overlooking the city, packing them in come rain or shine with DJs assuming control in between the live action. Fridays and Saturdays are definitely worth a visit too, though, and host an ever-morphing line up of parties playing everything from samba to Balkan beats thanks to the likes of Yellow Submarine, Exalta Rei! and Volta Alice crews.
