Bringing a little bit of Ipanema glamour to Lapa's club scene, Tipsy opened in 2010 with three floors of stylish bars and dancefloors dressed up in an audacious bid to evoke a little bit of Las Vegas kitsch. Serving Perrier water for R$6 and beers for R$15 is only going to attract a certain type of punter, but its the kind that will appreciate the large carp aquarium that also decorates the space. The six private areas each have their own refrigerator, there is ample parking, and the Tipsy crew are doing their utmost to inject some glitz into Lapa, and why not?
