On a picturesque cobbled backstreet in Centro, Cais do Oriente looms into view offering an intriguingly different take on the areas dining. Plush armchairs welcome you in, followed by oriental rugs, huge vases and lots of wicker. Eclectic? Well, it actually manages to combine the cosy and the tropical thanks to the palm tree-covered terrace out the back and you could almost be in Ibiza, especially if its the weekend when club DJs take over late on.
