This is top-end design, on São Paulo’s top furniture street: Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva, with the kind of industrial chic that wouldn’t look out of place in Zoolander. The two-storey stack of brightly coloured containers houses furniture shop Decameron Design – home to a collection of slick sofas, chairs and home furnishings. Marcus Ferreira is the designer behind the majority of the furniture on sale, though don’t miss the brilliantly quirky home products from Dutch brand Droog, too.
