It’s way more fun – and affordable – to take advantage of other people’s shopping splurges. At Brechó da Villa, opened in May 2012, the shelves are packed with second-hand handbags, shoes and accessories. But these are accessories, luxury style, with around 50 brand names to be found, including Abercrombie T-shirts and Diesel jeans, though for anyone who has the chance to shop in the USA, the prices may not seem such a steal. At the top end of the scale, you can find designer items like a Chanel bag that originally cost R$12,000 going for R$4,000 here. Bargain?
