Located near the renovated Praça Roosevelt, this bar is a samba stronghold and it helped keep the spotlight on the downtown square throughout many years of neglect. The meaty feijoada stew at Bar da Graça, as it’s otherwise called, after its owner, sambista Graça Braga, is served in generously sized portions on Saturdays.
