Despite its name, cakes share as much of the limelight at this spot as do brigadeiros. Sitting atop pretty cake stands and dripping with chocolate icing, freshly baked cakes can be enjoyed with a cup of tea or coffee at this café-cum-patisserie, where pink walls and floral cushions are all part of the cutesy decor. Cakes aside, the brigadeiros are not to be missed. Watch out for the ‘chumbinho’ one covered in chocolate balls and the Nutella brigadeiro.

The same recipe of girly decor, antique furniture and, naturally, sweeter-than-sweet brigadeiros can be tried in Moema, too, at the newer branch (Rua Normandia 71, Moema, 5096 1707).
