On the checklist of any major city is a decent transport system, a central park, and a good Chinese named 'Mister'-something or other. Business mogul Eike Batista went one step further and bagged the chef from Manhattan's much-lauded Mr Chow, and in doing so created something of a sensation in Rio. The main dishes are perfect for sharing, while a veritable procession of entrees will please classic Chinese foodies with spring rolls, chicken satay and crab meat rolled in lettuce leaves all handled with the perfection that the prices would demand. The crispy fried duck, meat and fish mains are as good as the price tag would suggest, as are the tempting cocktails (from R$20).
