The high-ceilinged space of this lunch-only restaurant takes its design cue from the striking building within which it is housed – the Instituto Tomie Ohtake, filled with curves and vibrant colours. Similarly to its older sibling, the restaurant Capim Santo, the cuisine here is Brazilian, with typically paulistano dashes of Italian, Japanese and Arab.

Sink back into a comfy chair and consider your plan of attack for the bountiful buffet counter, where the choice of appetisers, salads, soup and at least five hot options – all served by white-coated chefs – could keep you going back and forth for hours.
