It’s hidden away above a shop in an old Liberdade building, where patrons ring the buzzer next to an anonymous door to be let in. Inside and up the stairs, you’ll find a rustic and simple place with no menu. The chef, Tomio Kikuchi – a macrobiotic evangelist who is credited with having introduced macrobiotic food to Brazil – serves the lunch sitting, while his son Eiichi does dinner.
