One of Brazil's most lauded 20th Century artists, Hélio Oiticica's work lives on at the cultural centre that bares his name. Always obsessed with the shelf life of his art and what would happen to it once he died, it is a fitting place to experience the man's obsessions with colour and geometry, especially since the fire at the family home in 2007 that sadly destroyed a great deal of his legacy.

Three floors exhibit national and international sculpture and art longside Oiticica's, and despite being afflicted by a somewhat awkward location in Centro (the museum is disappointingly neglected by art lovers during much of the week) it remains well worth a look.
