Brazil’s first lady of fashion is known for her perfectionism. Intelligent, interesting and unconventional, Coelho uses astrology to guide the creation of her collections. Born in the state of Minas Gerais – where many important Brazilian designers come from – Coelho started her career making clothes for friends before leaving to study fashion in Paris. Returning to Brazil in 1974, she opened a boutique called ‘G’ with her sister.

Almost thirty years later, Coelho rebranded her clothing line with her own name. Her stores are simple, elegant spaces where bright lighting puts the spotlight firmly on the fashion. Besides the Jardins store, you can also find Gloria Coelho in Shopping Iguatemi and Morumbi Shopping.
