Flipping fancy burgers since its inauguration in 1985, this upscale chain was one of the first casual dinner restaurants in town and a pioneer in the paulistano craze for the American all-beef patty. It remains a particularly good place for families: tough-to-please kids will be won over by creative meals and desserts like the Yogurt Farofino, a fancy frozen yogurt sundae with chocolate syrup, nuts and whipped cream. In an attempt to offer healthier options, pastas and salads have been added to the menu alongside a plentiful salad buffet, but don’t kid yourself or your kid: the hamburger is still deservedly king at this excellent joint.
