The likes of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bryan Ferry and lord of MPB (Brazilian pop) Roberto Carlos have all graced the stage at Citibank Hall, one of the most modern venues in the city. Naturally its size means only the open spaces of Barra could accomodate it, so any visit is something of a schlep from the rest of Rio, but the attractions usually make up for it. Disabled access and a dedicated space for over one hundred wheel chairs, as well as the usual corporate boxes and several bars make up the infrastructure, and the all-important stage measures no less than 500m2.
