The original Spanish nightclub (its iconic cherry motif first appeared in Sitges, outside Barcelona, back in the '60s) opened in Búzios in 2008, mere metres from the already well-established Privilège. Between the two clubs, the little headland's nightlife is well-covered, both of them packed out on holiday weekends and deserted (or just not open) in the low season, so pick your visit carefully. The best gauge is probably the DJ line up, with some of the biggest hitters on the international circuit taking up position when the promoters are convinced of a big crowd - Christmas and New Year, it goes without saying, are where the majority of the action is at.
