The São Paulo superclub arrived in Rio in 2007, immediately turning into the biggest gay night in town. Set in a huge renovated house in the rundown but once more up-and-coming Port Zone, it is kitted out with five bars, state of the art lighting system, a huge dancefloor and obligatory go-go dancers, not to mention the outdoor deck complete with mini plunge pool. The crowd is beautiful and mostly topless with ripped torsos given an airing at any opportunity, but its pretty mixed too, so a few club kids mingle into the fun. Buses do serve the area, but certainly the best option is to grab a taxi (around R$30 from Ipanema).
