The Palacio and its grounds house a vast collection of artworks and objets that reflect the history of the state of São Paulo, including paintings by Candido Portinari and Manabu Mabe, as well as Chico Stokinger and Felicia Leiner sculptures. The historic artefacts are organised into temporary exhibitions within the palace, and there is also a separate tour of the gardens.
