Another bout of house music and mayhem is afoot at Alto Vidigal this weekend courtesy of RUN VDG. From the Frenetik Crew, Pedro Serra and Rodrigo Correira represent with some pure house music styles, and RUN resident and Botafogo Social Club honcho Mike Frugaletti brings some jacking West Coast pressure until the sun comes up. Guaranteed good tunes and the trip uphill merely makes for an even more up-for-it crowd.

Getting there: Getting to Alto Vidigal is all part of the adventure. From the foot of the hill take a moto-taxi or combi van almost to the very top of the hill, asking for arvrão (the big tree) if you need pointers along the way. Taxis may charge an extra fee for the winding route (and to help them get back down).
