The artist Leandro Tartaglia has created a daily tour-and-audio experience in a minibus entitled 'All in your Mind: A Journey in Two Acts' (Tudo em Sua Mente. Viagem em Dois Atos), as part of the 'Bienal na Cidade' series of events and exhibitions running in conjunction with the 30th Art Bienal.
The first act is a recorded, narrated (in Portuguese) journey by minibus from the Bienal to Morumbi chapel, where a sound installation, inspired by the work of Maryanne Amacher, blares out of speakers inside the dark chapel. The minibus then slowly makes it way back through Morumbi to the Bienal. On the way back, look out on the first left turn for the Casa de Vidro – a modernist glass house that was designed by, and the former home of, architect Lina Bo Bardi.
Collect tickets from the Bienal building one hour beforehand. The tour leaves from the main Bienal exit. Note, the tour is in Portuguese, but five sets of headphones on the bus can be switched into English.
