The one-off 'Day of the Street' festival provides the perfect opportunity to share in and celebrate some of the city's brightest young bands and music as they should be enjoyed; outdoors, in the setting sun with a view of the ocean. Taking place in ten different locations along the sweeping beachfront from Arpoador to the end of Leblon, Dia da Rua presents ten different bands picking up the rhythm from 4pm. Don't miss the futuristic rhythms of Mahmundi (4.15pm), the electro pop of João Brasil (5.45pm) and the mighty Abayomy Afrobeat Orquestra rounding things off in funky style on the Arpoador Rocks (7.30pm).
