This is a hidden little bar and cultural gem at the top of the favela of Babilônia, one of the safest favelas of Rio, located alongside the Morro do Leme viewpoint. It offers breath-taking views of the stretch of beach from Leme all the way to Copacabana. You will see the iconic Windsor Hotel on your far left, the beach directly in front of you and you will find yourself completely surrounded by masses and masses of beautiful, untouched green forest.

The bar offers delicious pizzas and Belgian fries for snacking on whilst admiring the view. You can choose from a variety of national and imported beers, along with cocktails and natural juices, including their famous açai, a traditional Brazilian mix made from berries from the Amazon.

The bar also has its own resident DJ; DJ Angola who is popular with the inhabitants of the favela, the Brazilians from the nearby neighbourhoods and the many foreigners who visit the bar.

This secluded natural haven, owned and managed by a Belgian/Colombian couple, welcomes you to host a party and enjoy the panoramic view of the city with your guests.

When entering the favela take a ride with the Moto Taxi, which you will find at the start of Laderia Ary Barroso and ask for Birosca do Nica, Rua Rosario. Here you will find the beginning of the yellow stars which you follow until you reach the bar. Forget the yellow brick road; it’s all about the yellow stars!
